Kei-Kwan Queenie Valadou, English/French to Chinese translator specialised in tourism and world heritage. I have a master’s degree in translation and ten years’ experience in the field.

I am a Hongkonger born and bred. With a love for languages and cultures, I embarked on a series of academic and linguistic adventures in Germany, Jordan and France. I settled in France in 2009.

I am a member of the SFT (France’s union of professional translators) and abide by its code of professional conduct. I translate solely into my native tongue, Chinese.

Translation

I translate from English or French into Chinese (simplified or traditional). My areas of specialisation include tourism and world heritage.

Proofreading

I proofread any document in Chinese (simplified or traditional) and ensure the text is free of errors in vocabulary, punctuation, grammar and typography.  

Rates & Quote

Rates vary depending on different factors: service required, language pair, deadline, complexity and volume of the project. My translation rates range from €0.14 to €0.20 per source word.
